For our Global Finance team in Frankfurt, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Global Treasury Specialist.
About the Job:
As a Global Treasury Specialist, you will support the company’s international treasury operations by executing daily cash management tasks, assisting with liquidity planning, and preparing cash flow forecasts. You will help maintain banking relationships, process trade finance documentation, and contribute to credit risk assessments and collection activities. This role is essential in ensuring smooth financial operations and accurate reporting across global markets.
You will be responsible for:
* Manage and process payment terms and credit limits in alignment with company policy.
* Oversee global customer credit risk assessments and collection processes.
* Manage trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees, and export financing.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with trade finance regulations.
* Prepare reports and provide input on liquidity and financial risk exposure.
* Forecast and monitor cash flow positions, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
* Execute day-to-day treasury operations to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations
* Oversee global cash management, including banking and financial institution relationships.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with global banks and credit rating agencies.
* Arrange and manage equity and debt financing activities.
* Monitor and support treasury activities across all Almatis affiliates.
* Oversee corporate insurance programs, ensuring adequate coverage and risk mitigation.
About you:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a similar role.
* Experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses
* Strong knowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments.
* Experience in building financial models to evaluate various financial plans.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Professional proficiency in English.
* Familiarity with IT systems pertinent to the role (SAP, Power BI and Microsoft Office…etc) will be considered an advantage.
