You have successfully completed your master’s degree and now you want to kickstart your career – preferably in an international environment. During our management trainee program, you will quickly assume responsibility for your tasks in the Automation Business Unit team of our operating unit Industrial Trucks & Services EMEA (ITS). The team is responsible for developing the business of small standard Automated Solutions within the KION Group as we recognize this unserved market as a vital component in our customers' automation journey. Tasks and Qualifications:
Tasks
6. You actively contribute to the development and scaling of standardized automated intralogistics solutions, supporting the growth of a new and strategic business area within KION ITS EMEA
7. You support the execution of the Automation business plan in close alignment with Strategy, enabling our brands STILL and Linde Material Handling to successfully expand their automation portfolios
8. You collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Management, Sales, After Sales, and Service to design and deliver end‑to‑end, turnkey customer solutions across the entire product lifecycle
9. Together with our sister company Dematic, you support the development of integrated solutions for larger and more complex customer projects, leveraging synergies across the KION Group
10. You prepare business cases, calculations, and customer proposals, and actively participate in customer presentations and negotiations
11. You are involved in international customer projects, including on‑site implementation phases, and work closely with regional teams across EMEA to support solution design, realization, and execution
12. You are part of international customer projects (including realization and execution of sold -on-site projects) and cooperate regularly with regional teams across Europe (EMEA) and assist in the design of customer solutions using our automatized Intralogistics components
Requirements
13. You hold a master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable field, ideally complemented by first practical experience in Business Development, Consulting, or a commercial/technical role
14. You communicate confidently in English and German and are comfortable working with international stakeholders
15. You demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset
16. You are highly motivated to take early responsibility and proactively drive topics in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment
17. You have already gained international experience and are enthusiastic about a longer international assignment as part of the program
18. You are a team player with strong communication skills, a high level of initiative, and the ambition to achieve measurable results
