Key Responsibilities: Manage all internal and external regulatory and compliance activities. Work within an international team structure with multiple locations. Monitor the regulatory environment to ensure organizational compliance with all products. Maintain knowledge of standards/regulations such as REACH, Prop65, RoHS, GHS, IEC, UL, CSA, etc. Stay updated on changing UK regulations and rule changes. Create and maintain a database of all regulatory aspects for existing and new products. Drive initiatives to reduce/eliminate SCIP registered products. Research and communicate applicable standards for our products and stay aware of regulation changes. Collaborate with consultants to review, evaluate, and understand applicable regulations and standards. Interface with test labs and work with Quality, Sourcing, Suppliers, and R&D to ensure all products meet compliance requirements. Communicate regulatory requirements to appropriate departments or cross-functional teams. Utilize experience with Ecovadis and company sustainability programs, including communications and guidance. Work closely with different departments to ensure effective collaboration. Create and document best practices and procedures, including developing processes for Quality and Customer Services to efficiently respond to regulatory requests. Report regulatory-related costs to the Director of Global Regulatory Compliance. Develop a path with internal teams to move from Silver to Gold levels in the Ecovadis program. Plan and execute the ISO Audit (external audit). Education, Knowledge, and Experience: Education: Related College Degree (Technical field with experience in environmental, green industry preferred but optional). Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in regulatory compliance, preferably from the durable goods industry. Experienced in Project Management (optional). Some experience with low-level chemical inventory work (optional). Specific Knowledge/Requirements: In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Proficiency in creating and maintaining databases.
