Imagine being the main point of contact that turns the strategic priorities of EU Defense initiatives and NATO development into the product road maps and revenue engines of a cutting edge technology company. As our Global Key Account Manager – International Organisations, you’ll sit at the crossroads, driving the flow of information, opportunities, and strategic decisions that shape the business.
Your tasks
* You maintain a consolidated, up to date overview of EU/NATO stakeholders, their priorities, activities and opportunities. You monitor the institutional opportunity pipeline and specifically address conflicts, duplications, or competing internal offers.
* You keep the regional and local sales, the application segments, R&D and Governmental Relations aligned and informed, ensure two way information flow and act as the primary liaison with the Brussels office and other central institutional contacts.
* You prepare and run steering meetings—including agenda, materials, minutes and action tracking—set the meeting cadence, drive pre alignment and decision making, produce decision papers and executive briefings for Technical Sales and Sales leadership, and monitor implementation.
* You translate EU/NATO needs e.g. standards, architectures, capability plans into roadmaps and business plans, position the company’s contributions and steer its input in standardisation and architecture discussions and working groups.
* You identify and qualify institutional opportunities together with subject matter experts, maintain a structured hand over to commercial owners and ensure timely follow up and opportunity tracking.
* You create and deliver clear guidance, reusable templates and best practice playbooks on “how we do business” with institutions, run short training sessions and supply ready to use documents for internal teams. At the same time you gather stakeholder feedback, refine related processes, templates and operating rhythms, and propose efficiency measures that cut duplication and accelerate decision cycles.
Your qualifications
* You hold a relevant university degree (e.g., Management, Engineering, International Relations) and bring several years of experience in business development, key account management, or navigating complex government/security markets.
* You have strong knowledge of EU and NATO institutions, capability planning processes and interoperability/standardisation (experience with EDF or other funding instruments is a plus).
* You excel at influencing and coordinating cross functional teams without formal authority, building consensus and driving results.
* You are skilled at structured preparation and prioritisation – creating decision papers, executive briefings and tracking actions with rigor.
* You exercise sound judgement in sensitive or political contexts and consistently demonstrate high integrity.
* You are fluent in German and English (French is a plus) and are ready to travel internationally as needed
