The State Leadership Academy for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (FüAk) is an intermediate authority within the remit of the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism (StMELF) with its headquarters in Landshut.

Your field of application
The ICT 4 - Application Development for the Paying Agency supports the Paying Agency in the StMELF in the development of IT applications based on the ministerial reference architecture. This includes contributions to requirements analysis as well as the implementation, further development and maintenance of IT solutions for the agricultural funding procedures of the Bavarian Paying Agency, forestry funding and the StMELF administration portal.
Your tasks
* Creation, modification, maintenance and further development of software using relational database management systems (PostgreSQL), web services and messaging infrastructure
* Coordination of software and interface development with clients and service providers throughout the entire software life cycle
* Supporting the software development process and using appropriate development tools (e.g. JIRA, Bitbucket, Kibana, SonarQube)
* Monitoring of applications and implementation of QA measures
Your profile
* Qualification for entry to the third qualification level of the science and technology career path, specializing in administrative informatics
or
a successfully completed degree (Bachelor's or FH diploma) in the field of computer science or comparable technical courses of study
* Experience in application development
* Very good knowledge of the Java programming language and common frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate)
* Basic knowledge of relational database systems and SQL
* Advanced knowledge in the development of web applications and REST services
* basic knowledge of creating and documenting requirements, object-oriented design and software architectures
* Knowledge of JavaScript-based interface technologies is an advantage
* Structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
* Team and communication skills
* High degree of initiative and resilience
* German language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Higher grades require clarification on a case-by-case basis. With appropriate probation, there are development opportunities up to grade A13.
