To support our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Financial Analyst who will help build scalable finance and analytics structures and support data-driven decision-making across the company. This role combines analytical rigor with a hands-on startup mindset. You will work closely with the founders and the VP Finance, contribute to both operational finance and strategic initiatives, and gain deep exposure to venture-backed growth dynamics. Your Role As a Financial Analyst, you will support and help shape the finance function end-to-end, acting as a strong analytical partner to leadership and key stakeholders. Financial Analysis & Reporting Prepare and maintain financial reports, KPIs, and management dashboards Analyze financial performance, cost structures, and unit economics Ensure financial transparency for founders, leadership, and investors Translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Contribute to cash flow management, liquidity planning, and runway analysis Help setting up Agicap as liquidity management tool Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses Support strategic planning initiatives such as hiring plans, pricing decisions, and go-to-market investments Accounting & Financial Operations Act as a finance interface to external partners such as tax advisors, accountants, auditors, and payroll providers Support invoicing, revenue tracking, and accounts receivable processes Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in collaboration with external accounting partners and the VP Finance Ensure accurate documentation and structured financial processes Cost Control & Process Improvement Build and continuously improve cost tracking and cost accounting structures (e.g. R&D, project-based, product, and overhead costs) Support financial documentation and reporting for public funding and grant projects (e.g. R&D grants, national and EU funding programs) Help scale, automate, and improve finance processes, tools, and internal controls as the company grows What You Bring Experience & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field 1–3 years of professional experience in FP&A, financial analysis, controlling, consulting, or a startup environment Strong understanding of financial statements and cost structures Analytical skills with ability to structure complex financial topics and generate actionable insights First experience with Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools; experience with Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, Agicap or similar is a plus Interest in technology-driven business models, R&D-heavy organizations, and venture-backed companies Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) Personal Qualities Strategic thinker with a hands-on, proactive approach Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-changing, and ambiguous environment Structured, detail-oriented, and highly accountable Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow into a broader finance leadership role What We Offer Opportunity to build and scale FP&A and finance structures from an early stage Exposure to strategic decision-making, venture capital, and investor reporting Direct collaboration with founders and leadership A highly ambitious, international, and technology-driven team Competitive compensation and flexible, inclusive working arrangements We offer a highly competitive salary with reallocation benefits in a flexible and inclusive work environment.
