As a Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d) at FORMEL SKIN, you will work on Finance and Operations analytics initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to understand performance drivers and identify opportunities for improvement. You will translate complex datasets into meaningful insights, define impactful metrics, and enable teams to make confident, data-driven decisions. With your strong technical expertise and business acumen, you will help shape our analytics foundation and ensure data is at the core of how we operate and grow.
What you'll be doing
* Drive end-to-end analytics projects across Finance and Operations, taking ownership from problem definition through to delivery - coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, and ensuring findings lead to action.
* Act as a critical thinking partner for business leads: challenge poorly defined questions, help teams articulate what they actually need to measure, and present findings with a clear point of view rather than just observations.
* Lead discussions to define, structure, and standardise key metrics - pushing back on ambiguity and ensuring teams measure what actually matters, not just what is easy to track.
* Translate complex business questions into structured analyses and turn results into concrete, actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Support recurring reporting and ad-hoc analyses where needed, maintaining data model quality in collaboration with Data Engineering.
What you need to shine
Business and analytical thinking - this is what the role is really about:
* 5+ years as a Data Analyst with experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
* Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks: not just answering questions, but helping define the right ones.
* Strong communication and influencing skills - comfortable challenging assumptions, presenting with a clear point of view, and driving decisions at the team lead or director level.
* Experience managing analytical projects across teams: scoping, prioritising, and delivering without close supervision.
* Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with a modern data stack. We work with BigQuery, dbt, and Looker - you do not need to be a data engineer, but you need to be self-sufficient and not reliant on others for technical unblocking.
* Experience with finance or operations data is a plus, including cost analysis, financial reporting, or operational KPI tracking.
