Key job responsibilities - Own end-to-end accounting operations across multiple regions, setting the standard for accuracy, compliance, and scalability while relentlessly driving process improvements that raise the bar - Collaborate globally with internal Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams, external business partners, and other departments such as Tax and Legal. - Lead and deliver complex, large-scale projects in a fast-moving, international, high-growth environment. - Lead deep-dive analytics and anomaly detection to surface actionable insights, challenge the status quo, and champion data-driven change that transforms how the business operates - Continuously enhance your skills by working with advanced finance technologies and global best practices. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field - Experience working with global cross-functional teams - Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and HGB. - Extensive experience in leading end-to-end accounting cycles, managing audits, and navigating multi-jurisdictional reporting requirements. - Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms; leveraging automation tools and AI to improve processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to turn accounting data into actionable insights. - Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on experience with advanced finance technologies, AI-driven analytics, and process automation. - Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
