Your new job includes
As a Corporate Communications & External Affairs trainee, you will lay the foundation for a fast-track specialist or management career in international travel retail in our 18-month program. Start your career in the field of communications by gaining a wide range of insights into communications consulting for the specialist departments in relation to their employee, customer and supplier communications as well as the two areas of press and political liaison work. During the program you will:
* get to know our business from the ground up and take responsibility for your own projects as well as master varied challenges at home and abroad, e.g. at our retail locations and international subsidiariesget to know and support our global internal communication channels for our employees at the regional headquarters, in the logistics centers and in our stores around the world
* assist with corporate reporting and the preparation of topics and writing texts for internal and external communication (digital and analog)
* handle international journalist inquiries and jointly manage the organization of press conferences
* organize and carry out our events for B2B partners, suppliers and employees
* prepare content for internal and external stakeholders together with the Corporate Communications Manager, for example in the preparation of presentations and decision papers

Preferred Profile
Your task is demanding. That's why we are, too, when it comes to selecting applicants. That's why we are looking for:
* a university degree with a focus on media & communication or a comparable degree
* very good German and English language skills for advising international clients and stakeholders
* at least 6 months of relevant practical experience, ideally in the field of press or communications, e.g. through internships or working student activities
* Software skills, advanced user knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word,
* Intercultural competence, through experience abroad - e.g. internships or semesters abroad as well as very good German and English skills
* Structured, future-oriented thinking, practical problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for all facets of communications work
* a high affinity for digital topics, creative talent and knowledge of the media landscape and social media
* Mobility and a willingness to travel for worldwide assignments
