Core Mission of the Role
As Senior Tax Manager, you will shape and develop Viessmann’s tax function to support expansion and transformation. Your leadership will ensure compliance with corporate income tax (domestic and international), BEPS Pillar II, VAT, and transfer pricing, while anticipating and addressing future regulatory complexities in a global tax landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and optimize the corporate income tax compliance process for German entities, coordinating tax returns with external advisors.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for tax audits of German entities.
* Support tax reporting (current and deferred taxes) in collaboration with finance teams to maintain accuracy and strategic alignment.
* Handle VAT and real‑estate related tax matters.
* Manage transfer‑pricing related requirements (Master File, CbCR, local files).
* Implement and monitor BEPS Pillar II requirements, adapting to regulatory changes.
* Coordinate external tax advisors and assess digitalisation opportunities for process improvement.
* Educate internal teams to embed tax awareness throughout decision making.
Qualifications
* Degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or Law and extensive experience in international and German taxation.
* Certified German tax advisor.
* Proven expertise in corporate income tax (current and deferred taxes, BEPS Pillar II), VAT, and international tax including transfer pricing, preferably in a multinational or Big 4 environment.
* Experience managing complex tax audits and working with tax authorities.
* Strong knowledge of global tax trends and regulatory developments.
* Proficiency with tax reporting tools and a passion for digital tax solutions.
* Fluency in German (C1) and English (C1).
