KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of new business processes and features within our financial market data system.
* Establish and enforce development guidelines and governance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Manage and coordinate with external development partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Lead Developer or Senior Developer in a financial or data-intensive environment.
* Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
* Experience with financial market data systems and understanding of financial products and services.
* Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
