Your mission
We are the leading provider of public bike-sharing systems and are continuously expanding into new cities to create cleaner and better-connected communities through improved micromobility. A key part of our growth is driven by public tenders across Europe - and in this role, you will be at the center of that process.
You will be responsible for creating and coordinating compelling proposals for public tenders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that every proposal reflects our strengths, strategic direction, and full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Own the entire tender process (RFPs, RFIs) across multiple markets — from initial evaluation and strategy development to final submission
* Monitor upcoming tenders and market trends in micromobility
* Review and analyze tender documents, define requirements, and coordinate input from other teams
* Develop business cases together with our Business Development teams, define scenario analyses, and ensure that our proposals remain commercially attractive throughout the entire contract period
* Proactively manage stakeholders and coordinate interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Operations, Product/Tech, Legal, Finance, and Business Development) to create compelling, clear, and compliant proposal content aligned with our business objectives
* Analyze previous tender outcomes and competitor behavior to anticipate trends and position even stronger proposals
* Ensure that all submissions are delivered on time, legally compliant, financially accurate, and formally correct
* Continuously maintain and expand our national and international knowledge management to enable standardized references, templates, and proposal materials
* Lead the post-award phase, including clarifications, presentations, and contract negotiations with cities, metropolitan regions, or public transport authorities
* Leverage and optimize our AI tools to improve the creation, formatting, compliance checks, and overall efficiency of our proposals
Your profile
* Ideally, you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field
* You bring 5+ years of experience in bid management or managing public tenders, ideally within the micromobility or transportation sector
* Excellent German and English skills (minimum C1 level) are required - additional European languages (e.g. French, Spanish, or Polish) are a strong plus
* You have proven experience in developing complex business cases for public bids
* You possess strong writing, organizational, and project management skills
* Experience with European public procurement law, city/municipal requirements, micromobility, shared mobility, or smart city projects is a major advantage
* You work in a detail-oriented, reliable, and effective manner, even under tight deadlines
* You are a team-oriented, proactive, solution-driven, and have willingness for work-related travel
* Working on-site regularly at our beautiful office in Leipzig-Plagwitz is no problem for you
