Responsibilities:
1. Lead all aspects of the M&A process, from deal origination through due diligence, negotiation, and closing
2. Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including developers, investors, and other industry participants
3. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities
4. Evaluate and assess potential transactions, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic fit
5. Develop and present investment proposals to senior management and investment committees
6. Work closely with legal, financial, and other internal teams to ensure successful execution of transactions
7. Monitor and manage the performance of portfolio companies, including financial and operational performance, risk management, and strategic planning
8. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to inform investment strategies and decision-making
Requirements:
9. 10+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or related field, with a focus on renewable energy
10. Proven track record of successfully identifying and executing M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector
11. Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling
12. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
13. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
14. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
