For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for a MRO Process & Production Engineer as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!
This is an exciting opportunity to join the prestigious E-3A AWACS program.
In this role, you will drive competitiveness, industrialization, sustainability, and innovation of production processes, focusing on manufacturing structures and structural mechanics.
The ability to obtain a security clearance for NATO projects is required.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will bridge the gap between production and design, handling the following duties:
* Production Support: Assist the production department in resolving issues related to maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes.
* Design Interface: Provide detailed data for engineering design, specifically by generating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
* MRO Work Planning: Create neutral work plans to accurately document maintenance and repair activities.
* Problem Solving & Improvement: Lead and support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and process optimization.
* Team Integration: Participate actively in the production team's daily routines and establish regular feedback loops.
* Installation Supervision: Prepare and oversee initial installations, ensuring necessary feedback reaches the production area.
* Issue Management: Track and resolve critical or recurring issues in work preparation reported by shopfloor teams.
* Risk Analysis: Execute and support Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA/FMEA).
* Technical Compliance: Update documentation and technical instructions according to contractual rules and specifications.
Job Requirements
* Education: Master’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
* Essential knowledge of mechanical aircraft components and airframe structures.
* Proven experience in technical support functions is required.
* IT Skills: Advanced, specialized knowledge of MS Office.
* Language Skills: Fluent German skills and at least business fluent English are mandatory.
