Responsibilities:
* Research and design advanced modems for optical communication networks (access, data center, metro, and long-haul networks).
* Develop innovative signal processing concepts and architectures.
* Collaborate closely with product development teams to implement key designs into commercial products.
* Participate in top academic conferences and publish research in leading journals (e.g., OFC, ECOC, JLT, PTL).
Qualifications:
* PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
* Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and machine learning techniques.
* Strong background in optical and wireless communication systems, including modulation, equalization, synchronization, and forward error correction.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with an open mind and a collaborative approach.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
* Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
