We are seeking committed and motivated volunteers for the Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD) im qualifizierten Krankentransport starting from 1 September 2025.
Location: Stadt/Landkreis Rosenheim
Full-time and part-time (minimum 21 hours/week) options available.
The Bayerische Rote Kreuz is the leading aid organization in Bavaria, employing about 23,000 staff and around 150,000 volunteers. In the Rosenheim district, over 2,300 volunteers and approximately 480 full-time staff are active.

Your Responsibilities in Your BFD
* You will be a driver in qualified patient transport, supporting your colleagues from the rescue service in patient care or emergency patient transport.
* You will accompany people safely and empathetically to their appointments, e.g., doctor visits, therapies, or hospital discharges.
* You will perform material checks on the ambulance and ensure all equipment and materials are ready for the next Einsatz.
* You will learn the safe handling of stretchers or wheelchairs.
What You Should Bring
* Enjoyment of social activities
* Communication skills and empathy
* High physical and mental resilience
* Flexibility and willingness to work shifts
* Completed first aid course and a Class B driver's license
* Commitment to one year due to extensive training
* Identification with the principles of the Red Cross
