General ledger accountant

General Ledger Accountant
Located in Bissen / Luxembourg

Your responsibilities would include:
Providing accounting support for global IEE subsidiaries
Responsible for all G/L accounts (e.g. provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses)
Arranging bank and treasury related accounting and treasury report
Assisting the payment process
Performing intercompany invoicing, reconciliation and clearing
Assisting statistical reports
Supporting during the month-/year-end closing process
Managing supplier claim issue, including documentation and booking
Filing VAT declaration and VAT refund in different countries
Supporting annual audit process and financial reporting
Being a backup for other team member

You would need to meet the following requirements:
Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
Good knowledge of LUX GAAP (IFRS is an asset)
Knowledge of different tax and reporting rules (VAT, Statec, etc.)
Good knowledge of SAP/R3 (FI and other modules) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Ability to work autonomously in an international environment
Cooperative, having team spirit
Pressure resistant and pro-active
Precise, attentive to details
Fluency in English is required; German / French are considered an asset
