We are seeking an experienced and dedicated International Tax Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. You act as a contact person (m/f/d) for international tax questions in the BayWa r.e. You are responsible for providing tax advice and support for international projects (e.g. internal reorganizations, M&A transactions), and collaborate with external tax advisors in this regard
Your work encompasses also activities such as tax compliance (e.g. foreign permanent establishments), support with local tax audits and fulfillment of reporting obligations (e.g. DAC6) -moreover, you ensure compliance with Pillar II
You implement group-wide projects or initiate them proactively, establishing guidelines and standards, including the delivery of training courses
You support the design and implementation of digital work processes with regard to tax, as well as the improvement of the tax compliance management system
Several years of professional experience (ideally 5+ years) in a tax department of an internationally operating company or in auditing/tax consultancy company, ideally tax advisor exam or comparable qualification
In-depth knowledge of national and international tax law
Fluent in German and English, spoken and written, other foreign languages are an advantage
