Responsibilities Although this role requires a strong understanding of software development, it is not a traditional software development function. Act as the Application Specialist for an integral application team through a complete end‑to‑end service‑delivery lifecycle. Provide continuity and stability in a global production organisation while balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity. Manage production issues in a timely manner to minimise impact. Manage change and risk to coordinate software releases into production. Manage collaboration with internal and external counterparts to align on software‑solution proposals as they relate to business needs. Coordinate with software suppliers regarding system and application requirements for software deliveries. Own the evolution of the software, proactively review and document ways to improve deliverables and performance, and raise proposals to the customer interface so that products and services remain relevant. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Power System/Electrical Engineering or a similar field (a relevant master’s degree is a plus). At least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Proven stakeholder‑management experience. Strong knowledge in one or more of these programming languages: Python, C/C++/C#, Java.
