Key Responsibilities:
* Support employees with their queries about HR policies and procedures, investigate options, seek solutions, and partner with other HR colleagues to resolve the queries
* Collaborate closely with warehouse leaders to support with absence and discipline cases
* Work in conjunction with managers to develop and deploy site engagement plans
* Actively work in Workday (an HR management system) and maintain case trackers, driving timely action where needed
* Support employees with their benefits, policy & procedure queries, understand their needs, investigate options, seek solutions, and partner with other HR colleagues to resolve the queries.
* Guide and train employees and managers in the HR systems and service delivery model
* Support the delivery of the employee lifecycle with coordination and administration related to hiring, onboarding, annual performance management, job moves, exit, etc.
* Implement effective communication strategies to ensure all company and site updates reach associates, utilizing various channels such as notice boards, screens, start-of-shift briefs, etc.
* Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of HR-related documents. Key documentation review responsibilities include Employee Records, Policies & Procedures, Compliance Auditing, Benefits & Compensation. Mitigate potential legal and compliance risks through diligent review and maintenance of documentation.
Requirements:
* A knowledge of labor law principles, practices, and requirements
* Experience in resolving employee relations issues
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
* Fluency in German, good level of English
* Experience in Workday or other HRIS would be an asset
