The IoT Center of Excellence (CoE IoT) at DHL develops innovative IoT solutions for monitoring and optimizing our logistics processes. We work with state-of-the-art technologies and sensor systems to increase the efficiency and reliability of our global operations.

Your tasks
For a predictive maintenance application, we want to develop a sensor prototype that integrates various sensors and hardware components into an embedded device. Your main task will be to put our concept into practice and help develop the necessary software and firmware:
* Technical design of an IoT prototype (embedded computer boards, image sensors, vibration sensors, communication modules)
* Development and testing of software for the control and communication of components
* Conducting practical tests, research, and problem solving for technical challenges
* Close collaboration with our IoT team

Your profile
* Mandatory internship/voluntary internship as part of a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable courses of study (enrollment required)
* Basic knowledge of embedded systems, sensor technology, microcontroller programming
* Experience with Linux, C/C++, or similar languages
* Knowledge of communication protocols
* Ideally, experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar platforms
* Ability to work independently and enjoy experimenting
