Your Challenge
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Credit Analyst specializing in Bank Guarantees, based in Hamburg or Poznan. This role will directly report to the Director Credit EMEA.
Your Responsibilities
1. Handling of documentary business of bank guarantees
2. Supporting internal stakeholders in processing bank guarantees
3. Acting as point of contact for banks on questions around ADM’s documentary business in EMEA
4. Monitoring counterparty and country risk
5. Performing credit assessments of new customers, reviewing and updating existing credit limits
6. Close cooperation with commercial teams about credit limit assessment and payment behavior of customers
7. Obtaining and evaluating/analyzing customer information, balance sheets, and securities
8. Documenting/Maintaining records of the steps taken in the GetPaid credit system
9. Follow-up on payment plans and bad debts
10. Covering of reporting obligations
11. Acting as point of contact for internal and external partners on credit related questions
Your Profile
12. Banking, commercial or administrative apprenticeship; Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Controlling, Finance or another relevant field
13. Several years work experience preferable in international trade, the food producing industry or a bank
14. Knowledge of processing and handling bank guarantees and Swift
15. A degree as Certified Demand Guarantee Specialist, Certified Credit Manager or Certified Credit Controller, is an advantage
16. A very precise, well-structured, responsible working attitude paired with an analytic mindset
17. Assertive, target-driven and autonomous work approach
18. Good problem solving and decision making skills
19. Ability to deal with stressful situations
20. Good communication and team working skills
21. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
22. Fluent command of written and spoken English; good German or further language skills would be a plus
