Creating passion: your responsibilities
1. Improve and extend the current analytics and AI infrastructure (built around Databricks)
2. Drive the data platform by observing the fast Data and AI landscape and bringing in new ideas
3. Maintain our stack by extending our setup with security measures, monitoring, auditing, policies, and (data) observability
4. Build tools, templates, and processes (e.g. CI/CD) for efficient data ingestion and management
5. Enable colleagues from the Liebherr Group by providing guidance, best practices, and blueprint architectures
6. Support Data Scientists and Data Engineers with Data and AI tooling
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
7. M.Sc. Computer Science or related technical field with a focus on (Data) Platform Engineering
8. Proficiency in building secure and scalable data platforms using cloud technologies with focus on security, networking, authentication, etc.
9. Proficiency with cloud providers (e.g. Azure, AWS) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
10. Proficiency with CI/CD (preferably GitHub Actions) and IaC (preferably Terraform / Terragrunt)
11. Experience with Databricks / Spark, data lakes as well as SQL- and NoSQL databases
12. Experience with development and operation of distributed systems
13. Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python or GoLang) and basic experience with Data Science or Machine Learning
14. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German & English
