Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Leading and motivating a high-performing sales and marketing team of 15 to achieve common goals, as well as managing and reviewing all sales and marketing activities
* Developing and implementing sales strategies and roadmaps aligned with long-term strategic goals to meet the order intake targets of BU Mobile Harbor Cranes
* Proactively building and developing long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organizations
* Actively seeking and identifying new business opportunities to acquire new customers
* Acquiring new prospects and opportunities; controlling customer relationships according to guidelines to cross-promote offerings and close contracts successfully
* Taking a strategic selling approach, including customer segmentation and stakeholder mapping, with robust planning
* Ensuring solid project management of sales cases, which are increasingly complex and strategic, requiring alignment with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
* Identifying and managing potential risks related to customer contracts and aligning with the contract management team
* Providing market intelligence, following industry trends and global developments impacting customers
* Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Konecranes' full portfolio of products, solutions, and services
What should you bring:
* A target-oriented and can-do attitude with a genuine drive to achieve results
* Ability to translate customer needs and project demands into winning tenders
* At least 10 years of experience in technical sales, including driving large tenders in the Ports industry and negotiating at the executive level
* A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English; German language skills are desirable
* Strategic thinking and keen interest in global developments and trends
* Willingness to travel worldwide
