Responsibilities
* Lead the global Quality Control function, setting the vision and ensuring that quality control activities are aligned with Grünenthal’s broader objectives.
* Implement standardized processes and best practices across all manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency and compliance with international regulatory standards like cGMP and ICH.
* Champion LEAN-lab methodologies to optimize lab processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with the Excellence Network to share best practices and drive innovation in quality control across functions and geographies.
* Work with Site Directors to manage personnel, budgets, and equipment, and focus on developing talent and succession planning within teams.
Qualifications
* Academic background in pharmaceutical sciences or chemistry; Ph.D. preferred.
* At least seven years of leadership experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience managing global teams in a highly regulated environment.
* Experience with LEAN-lab implementation and driving cultural change; strong understanding of global regulatory requirements.
* Strategic thinker and decisive leader with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
