JOB OVERVIEW:
TE Connectivity in Adelberg is looking for a Technical Documentation Supervisor to lead a team responsible for generating CAD models and drawings, supporting product engineering, and ensuring the efficiency of documentation processes. This role focuses on managing team workload, driving continuous improvement, and safeguarding key processes within the organization. As the first point of escalation for internal customers, the supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of technical documentation across local and global teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Lead a team of technical documentation specialists responsible for: Generating (initial) CAD models and drawings for local & global teams Support Product Engineering with the generation of documents Safeguard the processes within the various RDOs
2. Manage the capacity (workload) of the team
3. Develop the capability of the team towards SME in Solidworks\CREO, PDM-link, Drawings
4. Drive continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team
5. Function as first-level escalation for the internal customers
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
6. Fluent in German and English
7. 5 to 7 years of experience in an engineering support role (Technical documentation, CAD-data, as well as, a good background in the quality environment (requiring IATF, ISO9001)
8. Experience with work distribution will be a plus
9. Mastered drafting relevant standards (GD&T, IATF-QMS)
10. Basic understanding of manufacturing technology (Assembly, Moulding, Plating, Stamping\Forming, Cable Assembly)
11. Basic understanding of Industrial processes (Product-release, Change -management and Deviation-management)
