Job Description Aufgaben – Das erwartet Sie bei uns: Zusammenarbeit mit Projektingenieuren, unseren Lieferanten und Kunden, um die Anforderungen für jedes neue Projekt zu verstehen und umzusetzen Basierend auf den Projektanforderungen entwickeln Sie neue Softwaremodule oder parametrieren bestehende Module entsprechend Beschaffung und Auswertung von Kommunikationsschnittstellen ausgewählter Gerätehersteller (z. B. Generatorsteuerungen, Energiezähler, PV-Wechselrichter, Windkraftanlagen usw.) English version: Tasks – What to expect from us: Work with project engineers, our suppliers and customers to understand the requirements for each new project that comes in Based on the project requirements develop new software modules Acquire and evaluate communication interfaces from selected equipment manufacturers (i.e. genset controllers, energy meters, PV inverters, wind turbines, etc) Implementation of device communication and assurance of a secure installation in accordance with cybersecurity standards Integrate our software into existing customer SCADA systems Participate in commissioning process for the projects As an expert in the use and configuration of our software, you will also regularly provide second-level support to the service team Note that participation in commissioning and second-level support may require travel, and an ability to travel is a requirement for the position. Documentation of the project tasks Qualifications – Who we are looking for: A completed degree in automation, electric engineering, or similar technical degree Experience working with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, M-Bus, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104/101, OPC/UA Multiple years’ experience working with PLCs in industrial settings, preferably with B&R automation Field experience with electrical generation systems (PV, wind, battery, gas prime power, emergency diesel) is a big plus Practical experience with TPC/IP networking (router configuration, topologies) is a big plus Knowledge in the field of cyber-secure systems is a plus Excellent communication skills You communicate confidently in German and have good command of English Willingness to travel Teamwork and communication come naturally to you, and you demonstrate commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.
