Your prospective job:
For our renowned costumer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as an Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) at the location Taufkirchen.
Your responsibilities:
6. Implement software for new and existing products according to software design and coding principles; write unit tests and perform software and hardware integration
7. Validate and verify software from unit to flight test, ensure all requirements are met, produce test reports, and contribute to V&V, release, qualification, and certification
8. Produce release planning aligned with systems development and customer needs; ensure availability of releases and follow release management processes
9. Liaise with systems engineering and customers to capture software requirements; design and maintain DeckFinder software, contribute to design strategy, and define high- and low-level requirements
10. Contribute to engineering planning and process refinement, support global Technical Sales activities, and participate in trials for safe and effective deployment of DeckFinder and test assets
Your profile:
11. Completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
12. Several years of work experience in IT / Information Systems
13. Experience in software engineering encompassing cross V-Model responsibilities
14. Experience in developing unit and integration tests
15. Experience in developing software for a airborne systems, particularly in accordance to DO-178B/C is a plus
16. Knowledge of CPPUnit framework is a plus
17. Strong knowledge of C and detailed experience in embedded software development (scheduler, U-Boot, firmware, I/O); experience with MISRA-C and Xilinx ARM Cortex SoC
18. Knowledge of C++ (QT) is a plus; Python, MATLAB/Simulink and Lauterbach Embedded Trace & Debugger are desirable
19. Experience with the Atlassian toolchain is nice to have
20. Fluent English skills both spoken and written
21. German is a plus
