The head office for the DACH and EEC markets, covering 13 countries with more than 2.700 employees, is in Düsseldorf and is the main location of around 500 employees. The Digital Marketing Director (m/f/x) defines and leads the Pure Player digital marketing strategy across EMEA West, driving brand impact and commercial performance through end-to-end planning, execution, and governance. The role oversees a high-performing team and budget, ensuring data-driven decisions, strong ROI, and consistent, best-in-class brand execution across key digital partners. A day in the life of a Director Digital Marketing (m/f/x): Define and lead the Pure Player digital marketing strategy across EMEA West, ensuring alignment between brand positioning and commercial objectives Drive end-to-end campaign planning and execution across key digital partners, delivering consistent and impactful brand experiences Own and steer marketing investments with a strong focus on performance, effectiveness, and measurable business outcomes Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Collaborate closely with Brand, Commercial, and Analytics teams to unlock growth opportunities and optimize performance Ensure best-in-class digital brand execution across wholesale platforms, elevating visibility and consumer engagement Act as a senior stakeholder and trusted partner to regional and global marketing leadership, driving alignment and strategic decision-making across functions Drive innovation and transformation by implementing new approaches, tools, and test-and-learn initiatives at scale What do we need from you? You have: Minimum 10–12 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, or E-commerce Marketing Proven leadership experience at senior level, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams Strong experience managing large-scale marketing budgets with clear accountability for performance and ROI Demonstrated ability to define and execute digital marketing strategies in complex, matrix organizations Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance brand building and performance-driven outcomes Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across senior regional and global leadership levels Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach Fluent in English and German What you can expect from us: A smart working model (hybrid), including 3 mandatory office days in Düsseldorf and 2 days working from home, along with flex office solutions, a work from anywhere concept, and meeting-free Fridays Lead Yourself.
