About the role We’re looking for a hands-on Master’s student (m/f/x) to join us on our mission to manufacture truly sustainable, high-performance composite components. The position starts with a three-month internship followed by a six-month thesis. Are you excited to help build a brand-new manufacturing process that enables full recyclability? What you will do Be part of a motivated engineering team developing, industrializing, and automating the first fully recyclable carbon fiber manufacturing technology. Design, test, and validate individual process steps as well as the entire manufacturing and recycling system. Develop and test automation approaches using our in-house cobots, and work methodically to enhance the internal recycling process. Evaluate the performance of the recycling system and the quality of recycled carbon fiber components within an exciting research project. Collaborate with experienced composite and software engineers to push the boundaries of sustainable lightweight manufacturing. Work with state-of-the-art equipment in our in-house workshop and stay curious by exploring new technologies and research topics with your team. Write your thesis on full recyclability of composites and explore the possibility of joining us full-time afterward. What we are looking for You enjoy collaborating with others to develop new technologies and tackle challenging problems. You work autonomously and have a strong urge to create with your own hands. You think holistically, but also like to zoom in and solve specific technical problems. You are available full-time for 3 months of internship followed by a 6-month thesis You’re fascinated by next-generation composite solutions and innovative materials. You have experience working with composites and enjoy combining hands-on work with research-driven development. You’re curious about robots and excited by the potential of automated manufacturing and recycling. You like exploring new approaches and thrive in an agile, fast-moving environment. About us Holy Technologies pioneers autonomous composite manufacturing to help manufacturers build radically better lightweight components. We are a European contract manufacturer specialized in ultralight load-bearing composite parts for automotive, aerospace, robotics and industrial manufacturing. Our proprietary Infinite Fiber Placement (IFP) technology enables cost-competitive production at mid-to-high volumes, delivering aramid and carbon fiber components that are fast to produce, scalable, and fully recyclable. IFP places continuous dry fibers along load-optimized trajectories calculated by proprietary software. This process delivers parts at minimum weight with enhanced mechanical performance. From prototypes to series production, we help teams move from CAD to finished parts in weeks instead of months, allowing our customers to innovate faster and stay ahead of competition.
