Stellantis’s Software Organization (SWx) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology. We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Technical Fellow to lead our Cloud and Virtualization Technology initiatives in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing cloud technologies, virtualization solutions, and DevOps practices to support automotive software development and deployment.
The candidate must be familiar with cloud technologies, including deep architecture skills of operating systems, hypervisors, and good knowledge of MBSE, MBD, and toolchains. Furthermore, an agile testing mindset, including continuous integration, test automation, and delivery methods, is essential. This individual must understand Autosar (both Classic and Adaptive) configurations—MCALs and Complex Device Drivers, Linux, Communication Protocols (Ethernet, CAN, etc.), Foundation – Multi-Core, Diagnostics, OTA, and HMI.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in DevOps, virtualization, and cloud technologies, with at least 5 years in the automotive industry
* Good knowledge of virtual testing methods (model-based, xIL, etc.)
* Experience in tools for L0-L4 virtualization and ECU hardware modeling
* Knowledge of cloud-based virtualization technologies and methodologies
* Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
* Good knowledge of agile test methods and test automation
* Understanding of testing standards
* Experience with complex test environments
* Experience working with and managing global teams
* Experience in planning, status & risk reporting, escalation, prioritization, and global governance
* Budget planning and management
* Strong foundational experience with Agile, Scrum, and DFSS methodologies
* Outstanding interpersonal and project planning skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Doctorate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
* Knowledge and understanding of an Automotive OEM
* Good knowledge of state-of-the-art software construction, integration methods, and toolchains
* Good knowledge of Operating Systems, Autosar (Classic and Adaptive), Linux, etc.
* Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB / SIMULINK
* Good understanding of automotive testing standards
* Experience with Agile, Scrum
* Experience in domains like Propulsion, Body, ADAS, Infotainment, Chassis
* Experience with branch strategies and variant management
