Job Description: This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems Task description Generate and review Safety Assessment and Analyses for Aircraft Systems (FHA, pSSA, SSA, Fault Qualitative Assessments). Generate and review Common Cause Analyses such as Particular Risk Analyses, Zonal Safety Analysis Analyses Support the System Design Teams and suppliers to ensure compliance against the safety objectives and requirements Tracking and documentation of safety-related requirements throughout the development process Review instructions for Continued Airworthiness to ensure safety compliance of the In-Service fleet. Provide input for the identification of safety considerations in support of system development or modification activities Manage input from and output to interfacing technical domains and technology (processes, maintenance, human error, aircraft performance and quality, etc.) Document and report findings or contribution Assumption of functional and/or project-related tasks in projects Preparation of documentation and presentation of work results Required qualifications The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways Skills and competences Appropriate knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility advanced knowledge and experience in in the field of Safety and Reliability Engineering the aviation industry Advanced knowledge in Aircraft Systems Advanced Knowledge of Safety processes, regulations and guidelines (CS/AC 25.1309, ARP 4761, ARP 4754A) Target-orientation with analytic problem-solving skills Willingness to learn new things Ability to perform several Systems Safety tasks in parallel Team player, organized and autonomous person with good communication skills Very good written and spoken German and English Willingness to travel domestically and abroad A security clearance is required for this activity or must be issued by the responsible authorities. Location At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we support Airbus Helicopters in developing helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield. Your regular place of work is Manching. Within the scope of your duties, you will be deployed at the (Airbus) location Manching after your start at Airbus Protect until the end of the operational requirements. After your return, you will be deployed at your regular place of work.
