Your Responsibilities
Are you ready to lead cutting-edge electro-technical operations at sea and make a lasting impact on vessel performance, compliance, and innovation? Join us now as an Electrical Superintendent!
* Ensure effective planning and prompt execution of electro-technical maintenance activities within the scope of your expertise, including both Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) tasks and exceptional interventions
* Oversee and manage the vessel's electro-technical budget and spare parts inventory, encompassing systems related to power generation and distribution (medium voltage, low voltage, and signal networks), automation, navigation instruments, electrical propulsion, elevators and escalators, as well as all electrical consumables and lighting systems
* Co-operate with HR for continuous evaluation and training development of the shipboard personnel
* Facilitate and support audit and inspection processes, ensuring thorough follow-up and accurate documentation of findings in coordination with Cruise Governance and Audit Management. Oversee the implementation of corrective actions and maintain records of all related documentation
* Conduct technical inspections of the vessel within your area of expertise, ensure timely follow-up on identified issues, and compile comprehensive monthly reports on the vessels operational status
Your Profile
* Bachelors degree in Electric/Electronic engineering or any related field. Masters degree is a plus
* At least 5 years of professional experience in the maritime sector
* Deep knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and technical standards
* Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
* Strong service and results orientation, with a proactive focus on safety
* Demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and inspire diverse teams in a multicultural setting
* A collaborative and approachable mindset is essential
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
