Summary About the position: This position is located in the 52 FSS VAT/UTAP Office. Work schedule is Monday through Friday. Military Spouse Preference is lost upon selection or declination or this position. Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to perform routine clerical duties in the VAT/UTAP Office. The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to: Examines, verifies, and analyzes a variety of documents to determine their mathematical correctness, validity and clerical accuracy. Monitors and examines the Value Added Tax (VAT) program and the Utility Tax Avoidance Program (UTAP). Collects and accounts for cash and checks received from customers; maintains receipt book of daily UTAP sign-ups. Prepares daily cashier, VAT and UTAP reports. Prepares daily deposits and ensures they are deposited in a timely manner. May fill in and perform Central Cashier and Accounting Technician duties as needed.
