What you can look forward to
* Analysis of security-relevant events in SIEM (Splunk) and prioritization of alarms
* Development, maintenance and optimization of use cases, correlations and detection rules
* Carrying out threat analyses, vulnerability management, incident response, root cause analyses and documentation
* Continuous further development of security monitoring and process optimization in the SOC area
* Creation of reports, dashboards, KPIs and security-relevant evaluations
* Creation, coordination and communication of security guidelines and concepts
* Process design, training and awareness-raising in the area of IT and cyber security
Your profile
* Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with a focus on security
* Several years of experience in the area of SOC (Security Operations Center) as well as sound knowledge of SIEM systems, especially Splunk
* Practical knowledge in the areas of incident response, threat intelligence, log analysis and malware and forensics analysis
* Understanding of network architectures, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, endpoint security and cloud security concepts
* Experience with SOAR platforms, automation of security processes, MITRE ATT&CK and threat hunting an advantage
* Experience in vulnerability management desirable
* Business fluent German (at least C1 level) and very good English skills
