What you can look forward to
* Analysis of security-related events in SIEM (Splunk) and prioritization of alerts
* Development, maintenance, and optimization of use cases, correlations, and detection rules
* Performance of threat analyses, vulnerability management, incident response, root cause analyses, and documentation
* Continuous development of security monitoring and process optimization in the SOC area
* Creation of reports, dashboards, KPIs, and security-related evaluations
* Creation, coordination, and communication of security guidelines and concepts
* Process design, training, and awareness-raising in the area of IT and cyber security
Your profile
* Degree in computer science or comparable qualification with a focus on security
* Several years of experience in the SOC (Security Operations Center) area and in-depth knowledge of SIEM systems, especially Splunk
* Practical knowledge in the areas of incident response, threat intelligence, log analysis, and malware and forensic analysis
* Understanding of network architectures, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, endpoint security, and cloud security concepts
* Experience with SOAR platforms, security process automation, MITRE ATT&CK, and threat hunting is an advantage.
* Experience in vulnerability management is desirable.
* Business fluent German (at least C1 level) and very good English skills.
