Materials Engineer - Electrification Module Development
We seek an accomplished Materials Engineer to spearhead the design and manufacturing of electrification modules, leveraging expertise in material selection and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on material selection and validation strategies.
* Establish communication channels with regional suppliers to convey technical requirements and resolve supply chain issues.
* Support new material validation through rigorous lab testing and performance evaluation protocols.
* Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to material failures, ensuring prompt resolution.
* Maintain up-to-date material specifications and design rules to ensure product excellence.
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in material selection and usage practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or Polymer Science.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Materials Engineering development, selection, and/or analysis.
* General knowledge of mechanics of materials principles.
* Familiarity with analytical tools such as SEM, FTIR, DSC, TGA, Thermal Analysis, and Mechanical analysis techniques.
