Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is a production site for passive components. Since 1996 as part of Vishay we have been manufacturing resistors and capacitors. These electronic components are used in medical, entertainment and automotive electronics, among others. With around 900 employees, Vishay plays a key role as one of the most important employers in our region. The town of Selb is located directly on the Czech border and boasts the scenic surroundings of the Fichtelgebirge.
What you will be doing:
1. Assuming disciplinary and technical leadership responsibility for the local HR team and challenging and promoting the individual development of employees
2. Working closely with HR senior management
3. Managing, ensuring, digitizing, and continuously optimizing HR processes and structures throughout the entire HR lifecycle
4. Moderating and resolving conflicts and clarifying labor law issues in close cooperation with HR specialists and external partners
5. Ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and operational requirements, analyzing current case law, and deriving concrete recommendations for action
6. Collaborating on and taking on HR projects and handling special topics
7. Ensuring cooperative and proactive collaboration with the local works councils
8. Promoting a positive working environment
9. Implementing programs for employee and management development and employee retention, as well as initiatives to promote corporate culture and workforce productivity
What you will bring along:
10. Successfully completed university studies with a focus onlaber law services prefered or a comparable qualification
11. Very good and sound knowledge of human resources, especially in the areas of labor law, HR processes, and several years of professional experience in human resources management, with initial management experience
12. Confident manner and a high level of consulting expertise in dealing with managers and employees
13. High social competence, ability to work in a team, and strong communication skills
14. Structured, proactive, solution-oriented, and conscientious approach to work, coupled with flexibility, resilience, and the ability to think strategically
15. Business fluent German and fluent English
