Your role
* Independent design, further development, and administration of global contract management with a focus on operational efficiency and process optimization.
* Coordinate inquiries from the organization regarding customer, supplier, and distribution contracts and provide feedback to the global organization in close collaboration with the ZEISS Corporate Legal Department. (Coordination function)
* Ensure the implementation of the legal requirements of the ZEISS Corporate Legal Department within the global organization and adjust them as needed (Governance function).
* Organize and conduct ZEISS internal contract negotiations for distribution contracts and service level agreements in cooperation with the ZEISS Corporate Legal Department, the international ZEISS sales and service organizations, and other partners.
* Actively participate in the design and creation of processes and work instructions, as well as support in establishing a networked organization to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of contract processing (Advisory function).
* Independent analysis of known and unknown risks arising from contractual obligations, as well as the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies within projects (Risk Management function).
Your profile
* Completed degree in business administration, preferably with a specialization in commercial law or a related field.
* Ideally, several years of sales experience in the industrial sector and initial experience in contract management.
* Self-directed, solution-oriented, goal- and result-oriented working style.
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel occasionally, including abroad.
* Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written.
