This is a newly established team who will support the Finance Executive Leadership Team to support the global Finance Transformation and will work on optimising and developing the finance technology infrastructure going forward. The Finance Systems Analyst is pivotal in optimizing our global finance systems landscape. This role serves as a critical link between finance and technology teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of processes and technology solutions.
Responsibilities
• Act as the bridge and facilitate communication and collaboration between finance and technology teams.
• Manage the relationship with the technology team to identify and integrate any new functionalities.
• Assess and coordinate needs for external consultants/trainers to support finance systems infrastructure.
• Represent the finance interests in the space of MDG strategy.
• Assist in identifying and implementing best practice functionality.
Key Skills
• Master’s degree in Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience of IT systems, ideally SAP exposure.
• Experience with Finance Systems and in a business analyst role, in acting as an intermediate between finance and technology teams preferable.
• Ability to manage change processes, to prioritize and to deal positively with different stakeholder requests.
• Fluent in German and English, further language skills would be an advantage.
Hybrid position, ideally 1-2 days a week in Hamburg. Budget is around 90-100K.
