Head of IT / IT Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the IT strategy and the entire IT infrastructure (servers, network, clients, printers, firewall)
* Planning, management, and operational implementation of IT projects (e.g., digitization, system migrations)
* Ensuring IT security and protection against cyberattacks
* Support, further development, and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
* Management and coordination of external IT service providers
* Implementation of new systems and continuous development of the IT landscape
* Establishment and optimization of structured IT processes
* Execution of IT emergency management and crisis response
* Training employees in IT security
* Responsibility for budget planning, cost control, and license management
* Ensuring system availability, data integrity, and backup strategies
* Compliance with legal requirements and minimization of production downtime
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in IT administration or in a senior IT role
* In-depth knowledge of network, server, and IT infrastructures
* Experience in IT security as well as backup and security concepts
* Knowledge of cloud solutions and virtualization
* Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP
* Very good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 / O365 environment
* Experience in project management
* Strong leadership skills and organizational aptitude
* Strategic mindset and business acumen

* Strong decision-making skills, ability to handle stress, and excellent communication skills
