Developing and executing simulation models to assess energy consumption and electric driving range across various vehicle configurations and driving scenarios. Supporting the virtual validation of energy efficiency KPIs, during early development stage and throughout project lifecycles. Analyzing simulation results to identify energy losses, evaluate system interactions, and provide actionable insights to optimize vehicle energy efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate energy management strategies into holistic vehicle performance simulations, ensuring model validation through alignment with test results. Contributing to the development of digital twins and scenario-based simulation frameworks. Ensuring the application of state-of-the-art methodologies, including advanced software tools and analytical techniques. Reporting and documentation of test results in English language. Close co-working with our R&D Centre in Namyang (South Korea), suppliers, engineering companies and universities. Degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on energy systems or vehicle simulation. >3 years’ experience in the automotive industry, preferably with an OEM or a Tier 1, in this or a similar role. In-depth understanding of powertrain and vehicle system behavior, with a strong focus on electric vehicles and emerging technologies. Proficient in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and AVL Cruise M, or equivalent software. Willingness to travel and to work in an international, intercultural environment. Excellent analytical skills, pro-active attitude, very good command of English language. Proficient in reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel.
