Data Engineer / BI Developer – Contract (Munich)
We’re supporting a major organisation undergoing a large-scale data and analytics transformation, with a strong focus on building out a modern data platform and delivering high-impact business insights.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across both data engineering and BI, contributing to the development of scalable data pipelines and intuitive dashboards.
What you’ll be doing
* Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards for key business stakeholders
* Developing data pipelines from source systems into a centralised data lake
* Supporting the evolution of a modern data platform architecture
* Working with tools such as Spark, Denodo, and cloud-based data services
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience building and operating data platforms
* Strong hands-on experience with data pipelines and data integration
* Experience developing Power BI dashboards
* Exposure to modern data tools (e.g. Spark, data lakes, virtualisation tools)
* Ability to work in complex, evolving environments
Nice to have
* Experience in secure or regulated environments
* Existing NATO Secret clearance
