(Senior) Legal Counsel - Commercial Law
Location: Cologne
Our client is seeking an experienced lawyer to join their Commercial team in Cologne.
Responsibilities:
* Provide legal support to domestic and international subsidiaries on commercial law matters.
* Focus on drafting and reviewing contracts for daily business activities.
* Serve as a liaison between the corporate legal department and operational units.
* Manage transactions independently and advise internal clients.
* Collaborate with external consultants when necessary.
* Enhance existing self-service tools for contract review and drafting.
* Participate in legal training programs.
Requirements:
* Successfully completed 2nd State Examination in Law.
* At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably with an international law firm or a globally active company.
* Basic knowledge of procurement law is an advantage.
* Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
* Enjoy working in international and interdisciplinary teams.
* Strong resilience, excellent communication skills, a process-oriented mindset, and the ability to provide clear, simple answers to legal inquiries.
