Associate / Manager - Sustainability Data & Reporting (m/f/d)
We are recruiting an Associate / Manager – Sustainability Data & Reporting (m/f/d) who will support developing and managing global ESG data & reporting initiatives and driving PIMCO Prime Real Estate’s sustainability agenda. In this role, you will have a broad exposure to sustainability-related data, governance and disclosure topics across a diversified global real estate portfolio as part of a multinational business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Reporting
* Take on project management for the implementation of new sustainability reporting standards incl. development of technical concepts and coordination with auditors and external consultants
* Contribute to the preparation of Allianz Group's sustainability reporting
* Cooperate in (regulatory) fund reporting
* Ensure audit compliance of ESG / sustainability reporting and manage internal and external auditing processes (esp. auditors)
* Define sustainability reporting guidelines, provide training and support the respective teams design appropriate processes incl. controls for robust reporting
* Develop internal processes, control systems and structures for ESG / sustainability reporting
* Monitor regulatory requirements for sustainability reporting (e.g. SFDR, Taxonomy Regulation) and drive its implementation
* Be thought leader for the strategic development of sustainability reporting topics / capabilities
Sustainability Data
* Perform or coordinate sustainability data management and data collection programs
* Develop and carry out ESG-related portfolio analyses as well as benchmarking of sustainability / ESG performance
* Optimize and further develop sustainability data and information
* Implement appropriate quality management procedures in close cooperation with relevant sustainability / technical management / asset management teams
* Support the development of today’s sustainability data strategy towards a “future-proof” sustainability data landscape
* Be key contact person for clients with regards to sustainability data
Key Requirements
* Advanced graduate degree in Management, Finance, Economics or Law
* At least 2/3 years of professional experience in a company, a bank or an auditing firm is mandatory
* Experience with and knowledge of ESG / sustainability / non-financial reporting (standards, regulations, trends, developments) and/or other complex reporting processes
* Ideally, you have proven expertise in relevant reporting standards (e.g. TCFD) and understand regulatory requirements (e.g. SFDR or CSRD)
* Experience in managing projects
* Detail-oriented with robust quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy
* Hands-on-mentality and persistence to carry out projects and tasks
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Fluency in English is a prerequisite; good level in German is appreciated
* Enjoys working in a dynamic multicultural business environment
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite
* Interest in innovative IT solutions is a plus (e.g. Power BI, Python)
