We are now looking for a Hotline Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Germany.
Responsibilities
* Provide first-line technical support via telephone and email for customers, installers, and distributors.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to solar inverters, battery storage systems, and monitoring platforms.
* Guide customers through step-by-step problem resolution or escalate cases to higher-level technical teams when necessary.
* Document and track all support cases in the internal system, ensuring accurate reporting.
* Work closely with the field service, RMA, and engineering teams to resolve recurring technical issues.
* Contribute to knowledge base articles and FAQ documents to improve customer self-service.
* Support training sessions for partners and internal teams when required.
1. Qualifications
* Degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (alternatively strong technical experience).
* Minimum 1–2 years of technical support experience in solar, inverters, or energy storage systems preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with hands-on mindset.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Language skills: Fluent German and good English are required.
* Ability to work under pressure and provide excellent customer experience.
