Then come and join our global team as Manager Facility Business Development (f/m/d). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the identification, planning, and execution of infrastructure expansion projects across the International Radiopharma network. The role combines strategic business development with capital project development, working closely with Sales, Technical Operations, Engineering, Finance, and external partners to identify optimal facility locations and ensure successful project execution. This position will play a key role in enabling the growth of the Radiopharma platform through the development of new production facilities and expansion of existing capabilities, including support for novel isotopes and theranostics programs.


Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


This position can be filled in Erlangen (Germany), Paris or Saint-Genis-Pouilly (France) or Dunstable (UK).


Your tasks and responsibilities:


Strategic Infrastructure Development

* You lead business development initiatives and strategic planning for new radiopharma facility locations as well as infrastructure expansion projects.
* You identify and evaluate new site opportunities in close collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Corporate Strategy teams.
* You assess market demand, logistical considerations, and customer requirements to determine optimal site placement and network coverage.

Real Estate & Host Facility Partnerships

* You manage relationships with host hospitals, universities, and research institutions that support Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma production facilities.
* You coordinate with real estate partners to identify, negotiate, and secure suitable property and infrastructure agreements.
* You oversee contract negotiations and conduct reviews for facility partnerships and host agreements.

Capital Planning & Financial Oversight

* You develop and maintain a five-year capital investment plan covering facility development, expansion, and infrastructure modernization across the Radiopharma network.
* You collaborate closely with Finance and Engineering to prepare CAPEX proposals, investment applications, and financial models supporting network growth initiatives.
* You track and manage annual capital budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with approved investment plans and business priorities.
* You monitor capital project spending, provide financial oversight and reporting, and ensure projects remain aligned with approved budgets and timelines.
* You prepare and present investment proposals as well as project updates to executive leadership, thereby supporting strategic decision-making and prioritization of infrastructure investments.

Project Enablement & Network Expansion

* You support cross-functional teams during site selection, engineering planning, and facility development phases.
* You coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, and Regulatory teams to ensure facility readiness and full compliance.
* You facilitate alignment across departments to ensure efficient execution of infrastructure projects.
Innovation & Strategic Partnership
* You support the expansion of theranostics and novel isotope programs through targeted facility development initiatives.
* You define requirements and specific considerations to establish a global manufacturing and supply network that supports theranostics programs.
* You define site strategy, capacity planning, and an investment roadmap for theranostic products, ensuring alignment with Technical Operations, Quality, and Capital Programs functions.
* You ensure that manufacturing capabilities meet both clinical trial and commercial supply requirements.
* You align network design with regulatory, quality, and logistical constraints.
* You engage with pharmaceutical partners, biotech companies, and isotope suppliers to develop opportunities supporting SHS Radiopharma’s CDMO services and supply chain initiatives.
* You contribute to strategic initiatives that enable new product launches and the development of manufacturing capabilities.

Your qualifications and experience:


* You hold an advanced degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
* You have extensive experience in radiopharmaceutical production or a related industry, including several years of experience in a leadership or director-level role.
* You have experience with facility development, infrastructure planning, or capital investment projects within regulated manufacturing environments.
* You have strong experience in business case development, contract negotiation, and the establishment of strategic partnerships.
* You ideally have experience working in regulated environments such as GMP manufacturing.
* You possess strong strategic thinking as well as solid project coordination capabilities.


Your attributes and skills:


* You collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and Commercial teams.
* You are self-motivated and able to manage complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
* You feel comfortable working in a fast-growing and dynamic environment while supporting international operations.
* You are able to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
* You are willing to travel up to 40% to support site evaluations, partner meetings, and strategic initiatives.
