Key Responsibilities
The Activation Manager is accountable for the successful execution of activation campaigns and initiatives across the customer base. This involves creating and driving the activation vision, defining best-in-class execution at the Point of Buying, and ensuring that category teams are engaged on channel/customer/shopper requirements.
* Engagement and Collaboration: Engages category teams on appropriate channel/customer/shopper requirements, needed benefits, and relevant timelines.
* Campaign Planning: Develops the most appropriate campaign plans by category and retailer based on Brand activation plans.
* Purchase Drivers and Trends: Understands the key drivers of purchase, shopper dynamics, and trends and is accountable for the development of account/channel-specific POS materials and definition of digital activation means.
* Tracking and Evaluation: Ensures tracking, post-evaluation, and report activity versus plan of all activities and recommends improvements and key insights for future strategy development.
* Team Leadership: Leads the activation team, guides, coaches, and develops team members, drives engagement & process efficiencies.
