Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Leadership Lead the development and execution of corporate and commercial strategies across therapeutic areas, R&D, and/or market access. Provide insight-driven recommendations to senior leadership on investment opportunities, portfolio prioritising, and growth strategies. Market & Competitive Intelligence Oversee research and analysis of industry trends, competitor strategies, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies. Translate insights into actionable strategies that position the organization for long-term success. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with business units, R&D, marketing, regulatory, and finance teams to align strategic plans with business objectives. Influence decision-making at the executive level through clear, data-backed storytelling and presentations. Project Oversight Lead and mentor project teams or consultants through complex strategic engagements. Ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives, business cases, and board-level presentations. External Engagement Engage with key external stakeholders including partners, thought leaders, and consultants to enhance strategic positioning and identify collaboration opportunities. Person Specification 8 years of experience in life sciences strategy, corporate strategy, or management consulting (with a life sciences focus). Deep understanding of pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry dynamics — including product development, commercialization, regulatory, and market access landscapes. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence executive stakeholders. Exceptional analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making. Desirable but not required Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MSc) in life sciences, business, or related field. Experience in launch planning, portfolio strategy, or business development.
