Ready for your new challenge as Tax Manager – Germany Tax Lead (m/f/d)?
1. Full ownership of tax matters across six German legal entities
2. Ensure compliance with German CIT, VAT, WHT, and Pillar II regulations
3. Lead tax audits and support statutory audit processes
4. Oversee tax reporting and maintain SOX tax controls
5. Handle withholding tax and non-routine tax issues
6. Implement new tax rules and processes across Germany
7. Collaborate with EMEA Tax Manager on transfer pricing matters
8. Maintain and review local TP documentation annually
9. Support new intercompany flows and cross-border transactions
10. Review intercompany contracts and tax-related invoices
11. Oversee monthly VAT filings and coordinate with external advisors
12. Develop and implement a Tax Compliance Framework to mitigate risks
Your profile:
13. University degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
14. Extensive, relevant experience in German tax compliance and advisory (Gained in Big 4, reputable consultancy, in-house, or tax authorities)
15. Strong expertise in: German Corporate Income Tax (CIT) Value Added Tax (VAT) Withholding Tax (WHT) International tax principles
16. Fluent in German and English
17. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
18. Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
